What’s a Momentum Ambassador?

Past interns, age 18 or older, who found a love for, and purpose in Café Momentum and want to be more involved, sharing their experiences and opinions to inform Momentum programming, expansion and messaging.

What will I do as an Ambassador?

In addition to speaking at events and to media, you'll brainstorm with our team on new ideas, give feedback and receive some sneak peeks along the way! You’ll be our partner – providing your mentorship, enthusiasm, knowledge, leadership and commitment to creating opportunities for more youth across the country and within the Momentum family.

What are the benefits of being an Ambassador?

For every hour spent in training or at an event, your meal and travel expenses will be covered, plus you’ll receive $20/hour. All Ambassadors will receive a $250 monthly stipend, and Senior Ambassadors will receive a $400 monthly stipend. This stipend is given each month to Ambassadors who follow the code of conduct and represent Café Momentum/Momentum Advisory at a high level.

Ambassadors also have access to a financial assistance program to assist with quality of life needs in an emergency or unexpected life event. In addition to virtual events and training, compensation for pop-up dinners is $20/hour for every dinner + all expenses paid for travel (usually four 8-hour days).

What’s the time commitment?

You will be asked to commit to being an Ambassador for 12 months.

  You are interested in developing skills in public speaking - including online events and press/media opportunities.

• Leadership and Enthusiasm 

  You provide us with feedback and apply the instruction and feedback you receive

• Commitment to Growth

You are focused on learning and growing on a personal, professional and community level. You’re committing to professional training and attendance at Café Momentum virtual dinners and/or pop-up events.
