JESSICA METCALF // NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, DEVELOPMENT

Jessica Metcalf has dedicated two decades of her development career to addressing social disparities in varied markets throughout the country.

Jessica’s career began in the community relations and philanthropy department at Goodwill Industries. In the following 9 years her professional success, on behalf of the American Cancer Society, was recognized with the opportunity to work in 4 states across the country with increasingly high-level assignments. While growing revenue in New England, Jessica was awarded National Rookie of the Year. From front line, community-based fundraising in rural areas to leading remote fundraising teams as a Senior Manager throughout Colorado and Washington, she has rebuilt teams with high market potential and exceeded multi-million dollar fundraising targets. Spending the last 5 years in disaster philanthropy, Jessica specialized in individual, foundation and corporate accounts.

She secured her first restaurant job at age fourteen and spent the following ten years in the industry, working throughout New England, learning life skills, time management, and the importance of customer service. As a professional, she spent her summer vacation time volunteering at a kid’s culinary academy which focused on bringing juveniles from urban areas around the country together for life-changing culinary training programs. This experience, combined with her deep commitment to development, sparked her determination to join the Momentum Advisory Collective and Café Momentum teams.

Jessica believes this is a pivotal moment to lead and ensure the growth of programming across the country. It is her dedication to social justice that ignites her passion to secure appropriate resources to help every young person exiting the justice system transform their lives and reach their full potential.
